Using Prior Knowledge

I have been learning to use my prior knowledge and experience when we relate to a given text/topic.I found this activity  interesting  because this was about streams and had a lot of action in it.It made me think about why people put rubbish in the stream and how we could help it.My next step is to use prior knowledge in my reading.
